Pradera

The Cadena team founded multi-award winning European retail property fund manager, Pradera, which was successfully sold by Cadena in April 2015. Pradera manages four discretionary retail property funds investing in shopping centres and retail warehouse parks. They also manage assets on behalf of separate mandate clients as well as investing with partners on a joint venture basis. Dorchester Retail Park, UK

Acquisition of retail park in 2009. The units were fully let to Currys, Halfords and Allied Carpets and were adjacent to Tesco’s superstore. Tenant reconfiguration succeeded in delivering significant returns at exit.


Factory Guadacorte, Algeciras, Spain

Cadena, working with Aareal Real Estate is responsible for the refurbishment of the existing factory outlet concept which will include retail warehouse facilities in addition to smaller retail outlet units and a freestanding restaurant.

Factory Guadacorte comprises 20,000m2 of single level constructed area, located on the south coast of the province of Cadiz.

Cuadernillos Retail & Leisure Park, Spain

Cadena secured, conceived and delivered the 38,000m2 Cuadernillos retail centre in Alcala de Henares, north east of Madrid.

The €115 million development opened in 2006 and comprises 45 units of retail and leisure space including anchor tenants like Brico Depot and 19-screen cinema of the 'Cines la Dehesa' group.

Pamplona Retail Park, Spain

Cadena secured, conceived, pre-let and delivered this 5,000m2 retail park, in the Navarra region of Spain.

Tenants include Feuvert, Aldi Supermarkets and El Corte Ingles Oportunidades.

Sainsbury's, Ely, UK

Cadena secured the land assembly, obtained planning and other consents, for major food store, providing the town with a new dominant supermarket including 470 car park spaces. Additionally the pedestrian links and the street lighting around the new store in the city centre will be improved and over 300 jobs created.
